Analiza sezonów pyłkowych szczawiu w wybranych miastach Polski w 2011 roku

This paper presents the course of sorrel pollen season in selected cities in Poland in 2011. The samples for investigations were taken in Bialystok, Bydgoszcz, Katowice, Lublin, Olsztyn, Szczecin, Warsaw and Wroclaw. Volumetric method with the use of Burkard or Lanzoni Spore Trap was implemented. Pollen season was defined with the 98% method. The sorrel pollen appeared first in Bialystok (6.05) and the latest in Szczecin (19.05). In the other cities the start of pollen season was registered on 13.05. and 18.05.2011.The highest 24-hour average pollen count was recorded in Bialystok and Szczecin, next in Olsztyn and Bydgoszcz, respectively: 89, 54, 47, 43 pollen grains in 1 m3. Annual pollen count were the highest in the measure sites located in the north part of Poland.
