Strukturen in Schmierölen mit amphiphilen Additiven

2001
The following paper describes that additives in lubricants form cluster associates who behave different toward mechanical stress, such as ultra-sonics. It is well documented, that the behaviour of additive-base-oil clusters depends primarily on the nature of the base oil as well as on the structural elements of the additives. Within this paper analogies between ultrasonic stress experiments and modified SHELL-VKA experiments are shown.
