Backgrounds Ethylenethiourea (ETU) is one of the main metabolite of ethylenebisdithiocarbamate fungicides and potential exposure is highest for workers involved in rubber and fungicide production. Exposure of ETU induces endocrine disruption, teratogenesis, carcinogenicity, and goitrogenicity.
