PENGENDALIAN KEMUDI TRAKTOR TANGAN (HAND TRACTOR) DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN SMARTPHONE ANDROID BERBASIS JARINGAN WIRELESS FIDELITY (WIFI)

Agriculture has developed in line with the industrial revolution until the era of agriculture 4.0. Plant production systems require innovative solutions to produce more products and profits in an environmentally, economically and socially appropriate way. Agricultural tools and machinery such as hand tractors can support the achievement of food sufficiency because it reduces the processing time of land to be relatively shorter. Efforts to reduce the dominance of farmers' power to operate hand tractors can be done by using a wireless steering control system via smartphone Android based on WiFi networks as a data transmission instrument. The control system consists of a transmitter unit in the form of a smartphone Android, a unit receiver unit in the form of an ESP-8266 module and an actuator unit in the form of a DC motor. The control system has been designed with a mechanism to modify the angular motion of a DC motor to push the break handle right and left, and position the gas lever at a certain point. The average time needed to push the break handle right is 4.25 seconds and the left is 4.15 seconds
