Szemantikus web és könyvtár: egy konferenciasorozat margójára (Hat előadás a SWIB 2017/2018-as konferenciáiról)

For some years now it has become clear that the integration of our information systems into the webspace and within the webspace would be one of the most essential tasks of future librarians. This way, the libraries, their holdings and descriptive data will be parts of the huge hypertext space. The novel approach of the library cataloguing enables the interconnectivity of the entities described by different libraries, linking them in a semantic way with the whole networking hypertext space. Therefore the library data exploring itself becomes a part of this webspace (the library aspect of linked data technology). Nowadays specific semantic web developments are also applied in the libraries. One of the most important venues in today's Europe where we can gain firsthand information about this topic is the so-called SWIB conference series. With the use of the conference series' video archives, the article highlights six lectures from the last two (2017 and 2018) conferences presenting them to the Hungarian public.
