Correlation for regeneration of a falling desiccant film by air in cross flow

1995
The equations describing the coupled heat and mass transfer between a desiccant film and air in cross flow for a falling film regenerator have previously been presented and solved numerically. Here, a correlation for the effects of the several independent variables on the rate of regeneration in the regenerator is developed by statistical results. The correlation developed should be useful in the design of regenerators using TEG as the liquid desiccant, in a falling film exchanger with air in cross flow.
