Progress in Structure-activity Relationship of Phenylethanoid Glycosides

Phenylethanoid glycosides(PhGs) are widely distributed in medicinal kingdom of plants.These compounds possess broad biological activities,lower toxicity and good safety,which provide great potentials in pharmaceutical applications.It will be the first occasion to review the progress of antioxidation,free radical scavenging,antitumor,neuro-protective,hepatoprotective,analgesic effects,antiviral and antibacterial activities of PhGs in recent twenty years based on structure-activity relationships as clues.This review will be helpful for comprehensive biological activity researches of PhGs from the point of structure.
