Effect of shear stress on endothelium membrane fluidity

The shear stress decreased the membrane fluidity. The higher shear stress, the lower the membrane fluidity. It arrived at the lowest point in 4h, then kept at this level. The shear stress affects the membrane fluidity apparently, it changes the function of EC, take part in the production and development of atherosclerosis.
