Is it possible to transfer ‘post-conflict peace-building’ experiences that have occurred in societies that have been torn by violent interstate or intrastate conflicts to communities that have suffered a terrorist attack? Could Western communities, which deal with the aftermaths of a terrorist attack, learn from other communities in the complex process towards reconstruction, healing, and reconciliation?
