Binding Pancreaticojejunostomy: How I Do It

The leak from the needle hole between jejunal and pancreatic remnant is the possible reason for traditional pancreaticojejunostomy. To overcome this disadvantage, binding pancreaticojejunostomy was developed, and the rate of anastomotic leak was decreased significantly compared with conventional pancreaticojejunostomy. Binding pancreaticojejunostomy is an easy and safe technique for pancreaticoduodenectomy.
