Simple digitally programmable attenuator using FG-MOSFETs

A very simple digitally programmable attenuator using FG-MOSFETs (floating-gate MOSFETs) is presented. HSPICE simulations of the circuit demonstrate a THD of less than -32 dB and a variable gain range of -13 to -31 dB with a supply voltage of /spl plusmn/1.5 V, load resistance of 10 k/spl Omega/ and input signal of 3 V/sub p-p/.
