Dimensions of structural units in petroleum-based protective agents
1984
The authors present new data on petroleum disperse systems and their complex structural units (CSVs) as studied by means of small-angle x-ray scattering. Charts present data on relative size distribution of CSUs in a blend of light catalytic gasoil (LCGO) and distillate cracking tar (DCT), on relative content of CSUs of different sizes as a function of content of DCT, and on LCGO solid point as a function of DCT content. The authors conclude that the number and size of CSUs show an extremal variation under the influence of external factors.
