This paper presents the development of a research building that develops into the hotbed of research in the physics department of the National Pedagogical University. A review of existing problems in the teaching and learning of electromagnetism and perform a theoretical discussion on Active Learning and a proposed methodological model of teaching focused from Active Learning for teaching the magnetic field, which construction is ongoing within the hotbed of research.
