1973
The article reports on the affects race and gender have on organizational behavior. The author focuses on the impact gender and race have on absenteeism. It is suggested that certain variables related to race and sex can be used to predict absenteeism. It is further proposed that the attitudes of employees can also be used to predict absenteeism. A study investigating possible correlations between gender and race and absenteeism is examined. The study results indicate that skill level may be the only predictor of absenteeism. Employee turnover is also discussed.
