Covalently linked [60,70] fullerenes–nitroxide unit for synthesis and characterization

Abstract Oxidization of those [60] and [70] fulleropyrolidine obtained from the reaction of C 60 and C 70 with diketone and 2-aminoisobutyric acid by m -chloroperoxybenzoic acid to give two new nitroxides integrated into C 60 and C 70 . The magnetic property of the nitroxide based on C 60 was measured by SQUID.
