Interleukin-2 producing recombinant eucaryocyte, its production and production of vector and interleukin-2

1988
PURPOSE: To produce a recombinant eucaryocyte for producing interleukin-2 by forming a vector having a DNA sequence coded with an interleukin-2 hybrid precursor which is a kind of natural precursor of human growth hormone. CONSTITUTION: A eucaryocyte is transfected by a vector having a DNA sequence coded with a dihydroforate reductase and a DNA sequence coded with an interleukin-2 hybrid precursor whose signal peptide is a kind of a natural precursor of human growth hormone in combination with a means necessary for expression. The transfected cell is grown in continuing media containing methotrexate at gradually increasing concentrations. The transfected cell capable of producing interleukin-2 is selected by this process to produce the objective interleukin-2-producing eucaryocyte. COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO
