Aerogels as traegermaterial for blowing agent systems

The description relates to systems for the reversible, pressure-dependent storage of gas, consisting of a 3-phase system containing solid vehicle materials (I), liquid solvents (II) and gas in thermodynamic equilibrium between the dissolved and gaseous state (III). To obtain a greater solvent absorption capacity in the vehicle material or to reduce the latter's weight for the same quantity of solvent, the aforementioned system is characterized in that the vehicle material essentially consists of an aerogel.
