Scheduling of Multi-variety and Small-Batch Motor Manufacturing Based on Simulated Annealing Adaptive Genetic Algorithms

2019
As the requirements of motor are diversified, the scheduling of motor manufacturing has become more complicated. Individualized and customized orders provoke a multi-variety and small-batch (MVSB) environment for motor manufacturers. In this paper, a two-layer distributed model (TDM) of MVSB motor manufacturing method is proposed which divides entire manufacturing chain into a workshop layer which consists of several workshops and a factory layer which connects all the workshops behind it. Each workshop is modelled as a flexible flow-shop sequence-dependent group scheduling (FFSDGS) and the simulated annealing adaptive genetic algorithms (SA-AGA) is proposed to solve the optimization problem. Dispatching rules are applied at inter-workshop communication for the development of a complete scheduling procedure.
