Elementos de una estrategia didáctica para el proceso enseñanza aprendizaje de la auriculoterapia en Estomatología

Background : auriculotherapy is part of traditional medicine, with recognized employment in the treatment of various stomatological conditions. Its incorporation into the training process of the stomatologist is defined by curricular strategies. Objective : to describe elements of a didactic strategy to favor the teaching-learning process of auriculotherapy and to promote ways of behave of future graduate of Stomatology, using the advantages of optional course, for students in third and fourth year of the career. Methods : in the Stomatology career was developed a research from July 2015 to May 2017. theoretical methods, documentary analysis, questionnaire and expert criteria were used to determine the definition and validation of the elements of the strategy. Results : a didactic strategy was presented to contribute to the teaching-learning process of auriculotherapy and the professional performance of the Stomatology student. The new element incorporated into the training process, through the optional course, included Natural Medicine and Traditional (MNT), taking into account the flexibility of the curriculum in framework D to make necessary and pertinent modifications. The elements of the knowledge system were defined. The strategy obtained positive valuation of MNT specialists and higher categorized teachers. A first version of the optional course was applied. Conclusions : elements of a didactic strategy were use in the optional course for its implementation.
