Penile metastases from bladder and prostate cancer detected by PET/CT: a report of 3 cases and a review of literature.

Despite the rich vascularization of the penis, metastases to thepenis are very rare events, and only sporadic cases have been re-ported in literature. According to a comprehensive review fromHizli et al., the most common primary tumor metastasizing to thepenis is bladder (34.7%), followed by prostate (29.8%), rectum-sigmoid colon (15.7%), and kidney (6.5%).
