Evaluation Losses Leakiness by the Simulation of Pressure Loss in the Combustion Chamber of an Internal Combustion Engine

The paper presents an opportunity to improve the performance of Diesel by simula- tion and modelling of losses from the combustion chamber of an engine, through the acquisi- tion pressure from the combustion chamber. Simulations of these losses are quantified through a proper process developed and verified by a diesel engine. Experimental modelling in conjunc- tion with the simulation program allows achieving improved operating models, leading to im- provements in the engine reliability in terms of performance of power, consumption and pollutants.
