Ileal Ureteral Substitution for the Treatment of Bilateral Ureteral Obstruction in a Patient with Systemic Lupus erythematosus

Ureteral replacement by ileum is a well-described and proven technique in a highly selective patient population. We report a case of bilateral ureteral obstruction with systemic lupus erythematosus to be successfully managed by total ureteral substitution.
