Blazar Observations with VERITAS

Many of the confirmed detections at Very High Energies (VHE; E > 300 GeV) are members of the blazar class of active galactic nuclei (AGN). In this paper, the current observational status of blazars at very high energies is reviewed and the derivation of the VERITAS blazar target list is discussed.
