Clinical experiences in carpal tunnel syndrome

Carpal tunnel syndrome is the sum of sympoms like paresthesias and pain in the median nerve area and atrophia in the thenar area. Tinel's sign, Phalen's and tourniquet tests and EMG are helpful in diagnosis. The choices of therapy are Iocal corticosteroid injection or surgical decompression of the nerve, We have reviewed our clinical experiences on 79 arms of 69 patients with carpal tunnel syndrome with this study.
