APPLICATION OF «TX ACTIVE» SURFACES ON BUILDINGS TO REDUCE THE LEVEL OF CHEMICAL AIR POLLUTION IN WORKING AREAS

2021
This paper is devoted to the problem of numerical modeling of TX ACTIVE surfaces on buildings to reduce air contamination. Numerical model was developed. To compute the process of pollutant dispersion in air the mass transfer equation is used, which takes into account the pollutant transfer due to convection and diffusion. Two-dimensional model of potential flow is used to determine wind flow over buildings. An explicit difference scheme is used to solve numerically the equation for velocity potential. The splitting method is used for numerical integration of the mass transfer equation. A computer program based on the developed numerical model was developed. The results of a computational experiment are presented.
