EFEITO DA MODALIDADE DE APLICAÇÃO SOBRE O CONTROLE DE Bidens pilosa RESISTENTE A HERBICIDAS INIBIDORES DA ENZIMA ALS

2011
The ALS-inhibiting herbicides are widely used in many cultures, so some weed species more tolerant of this mechanism of action were selected over the years, as in the case of Bidens pilosa. The objective of this study was to evaluate the mode of application of the ALS inhibitors in the control efficiency of B. pilosa resistant biotypes. Two experiments were conducted in greenhouse in pre and post-emergence weed. Treatments were arranged in a factorial (9x2) +1, being nine herbicides (imazethapyr, chlorimuron-ethyl, diclosulan, imazaquin flumetsulan, chloransulan-methyl-sodium trifloxysulfuron, pyrithiobac-sodium and atrazine), two doses (1x = recommended dose and twice the recommended dose = 2x) and a control without herbicide application. The ALS inhibitors did not controll satisfactorily B. pilosa resistant biotype in any of the modalities of application, despite the chlorimuron-ethyl and methyl-cloransulan that suppressed the development of seedlings when used in postemergence.
