فقہ اسلامی میں انسانی اعضاءکی ہبہ اورپیوند کاری کا حکم Donation and Transplantation of Human Organs in Islamic Jurisprudence

2013
The status of natural sciences in the Muslim World during the last two centuries has not been very encouraging. Speedy advancement in the field of medical science has necessitated collective ijtih┐d of the experts of Islamic Law and medical science on issues such as human organ donation and transplantation. Contemporary Muslim scholarship is divided into two on the issue: one group of scholars totally negate it while the other permits it with some conditions and prerequisits. The present article provides a brief survey of existing literature on the subject and concludes that Islamic law has never been static and hence the opinion of those scholars proves stronger who thinks that 'necessities permit the prohibited' (al-╔ar┴r┐tu tub┘╒ al-ma╒╘┴r┐t) .
