rotary electric machine integrated inverter

2006
A rotary electric machine integrated inverter comprises an enclosure (100) wherein a vent hole (90) is formed, an AC motor (4) placed in the enclosure (100), the AC motor (4 ) comprising a rotor (11) and a fan (2) whose rotation introduces outside air into the enclosure (100) from the outside through the vent hole (90), the fan (2) being fixed to the rotor (11) and an inverter unit (50) placed in the enclosure (100) and disposed in the vent hole (90). The inverter unit (50) comprises a portion of electrical circuit (60) and a control circuit (70) which the control panel (72) is placed in a housing (71) which thermally insulates the control panel (72) of the part of electrical circuit (60). Part of the electric circuit (60) is located at a position facing the fan (2) and the part of control circuit (70) is located upstream of the part of electrical circuit (60) relative to an input of outside air. The signal transmission circuit (80) from the part of electrical circuit (60) are connected to the signal transmission circuits from the control portion of circuit (70) via the holes (81) formed in the housing (71 ).
