Evaluation of Amino Acid and Salicylic Acid application on yield and growth of wheat under water deficit

2013
An experiment was designed tostudy of Amino Acid and Salicylic Acid application on yield and growth of Zarrin wheat cultivarunder drought stress at 3 conditions. Experimental design was factorial based on completely randomized design with three replicates. First condition included control (no drought stress), second and third conditions were Irrigation at anthesis and grain filling and Irrigation at anthesis respectively. Amino acid and Salicylic Acid were applied as plant spray at two (1lit/1000 lit water and control) and three (0.75mM, 1.5mM and control) levels respectively. Results showed that water deficit reduced all characteristics but amino acid and salicylic acid reduced negative effects of water deficit on wheat.
