Liquid crystal medium suitable for TFT liquid crystal displays

The invention discloses a liquid crystal medium suitable for TFT (Thin Film Transistor) liquid crystal displays. The liquid crystal medium comprises a dielectric positive compound of a component A shown in formula I, and a dielectric positive compound of a component B shown in general formula III and can further comprise a dielectric positive compound shown in general formula II and/or a dielectric neutral compound of a dielectric neutral component C shown in general formula IV, and meanwhile, an optical activity compound which is 0% to 0.4% of the mass sum of the liquid crystal medium is added. The liquid crystal medium suitable for the TFT liquid crystal displays has the characteristics of low viscosity, fast response time, appropriate optical anisotropy and dielectric anisotropy as well as excellent high temperature resistance, and is particularly suitable for manufacturing fast-responsive active matrix TN-TFT, IPS-TFT or FFS liquid crystal display elements and liquid crystal displays.
