The invention discloses an idler wheel comprising a main gear, a secondary gear, a bush and a connection device; axis holes of the main and secondary gears are matched with the bush; the connection device comprises at least three connectors; first sections of the connectors are matched with first mounting holes while the second sections are provided with elastic parts at the outside and are matched with second holes of the secondary gear; in a transmission system, the main gear of the idler wheel is meshed with a driving gear, and the secondary gear of the idler wheel is meshed with a driven gear; the main gear drives the secondary gear to coaxially rotate by the connectors; and the secondary gear presses the elastic parts to enable the secondary gear to rotate relative to the main gear by a small angle, so the meshing gaps between the driving and driven gears and the idler wheel are adjusted to be optimal. Compared with the prior art, the idler wheel has the advantages of eliminating the impact and vibration caused by the meshing gaps, reducing the impact and vibration in the gear transmission process and improving the transmission stability of the gear transmission system.
