Revisión bibliográfica POTENCIALIDADES DE Azospirillum COMO INOCULANTE PARA LA AGRICULTURA

2001
The use of rhizospheric bacteria with the purpose of increasing crop yield, diminishing the limitless use of mineral fertilizers and chemical products and, consequently, reducing the environmental contamination, has been a very common practice in the last decades. Among the most studied associative bacteria, there are those belonging to Azospirillum genus, which has become the most promising diazotroph group associated with grass and other nonlegume plants. This paper comprises the results and most current considerations in this respect, for proving that this bacterium is able to increase important crop yield in different soils and climatic regions using different strains and plant species; also this system although complex, has a potential agricultural
