Control device for a turbocharged internal combustion engine

2011
An object of the present invention, in an internal combustion engine with a turbocharger, is to control the boost pressure so as not to interfere with the warm-up of the exhaust purification catalyst. Therefore, the control device of a turbocharged internal combustion engine provided by the present invention, when a request to warm up the exhaust purification catalyst there, compared to when the request is not the target for the same target intake pressure reducing the determined value of the supercharging pressure. The target intake pressure is determined based on the target air amount determined from the required torque for the internal combustion engine. This control device is configured to operate the throttle based on the target intake pressure and the actual boost pressure, operating the waste gate valve based on the target supercharging pressure.
