Subject librarian system and personalized service model in hospital libraries

The status quo of subject librarian system implementation in hospital libraries of China was briefed,and the necessity of establishing such a system in hospital libraries of Chin was discussed.Certain measures were put forward for improving personalized service in hospital libraries,including establishing a personalized information service system for medical staff,carrying out deeper personalized information service,bringing subject librarians into full play in development of library holdings that can meet the requirement of readers,helping medical staff improve their information retrieval techniques,and training subject librarians.
