Study on performance and influence factors for Ni-MH and Ni-Cd batteries

The influence of charge modes,discharge modes and temperatures on Ni-MH(SUNPADOW) battery and Ni-Cd(TIANQIU360) battery performance were studied.The comprehensive performance was the best when used of standard charge mode.In the same charge and discharge modes,the discharge capacity of Ni-MH battery was 2 times Ni-Cd battery.The cycle performance degraded when the discharge current increased from 100 mA to 1000 mA,on the Ni-Cd battery particularly.The Ni-MH battery was more sensitive to high temperature,of which the cycle performance drastically degraded at the temperature of 50℃,while the Ni-Cd battery is more sensitive to low temperature.
