[Solution] This electrode for a lithium-ion battery is provided with an electrode current collector and an electrode active substance layer, and is characterized in that: the electrode active substance layer comprises an non-bonded body of an electrode active substance composition containing an electrode active substance; a pressure relieving layer formed from a conductive carbon filler is arranged between the electrode current collector and the electrode active substance layer; and the electrode active substance is present near the surface of the pressure relieving layer that faces the electrode active substance layer.
