Dielectric and pyroelectric properties of lithium sodium niobate ceramics at low temperature

1991
The dielectric and pyroelectric properties of lithium sodium niobate ceramics are investigated between the temperature range 320–120 K. The result is indicative of a first‐order ferroelectric‐ferroelectric phase transition at low temperature with a large thermal hysteresis. At temperatures near the phase transition, an unusual pyroelectric response is observed, which is attributed to the coexistence of the two ferroelectric phases. The result is in agreement with the measurement we made on the lithium sodium niobate single crystals.
