PROPUESTA DE CONTROLADOR MPC PARA UN REACTOR UASB

This paper presents the design of a linear model predictive controller to regulate the organic matter removal in an Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket (UASB) pilot reactor where the degradation of a leachate diluted stream from Manizales municipal Landfill La Esmeralda is carried out. The work is developed through numerical simulations, with the aim to establish the feasibility of using this kind of control for the study system by means of process phenomenon model.
