Frische Verletzungen der Handwurzel. II. Ligamentäre Verletzungen

Lesions of the carpal ligaments are still often inadequately treated being diagnosed as wrist sprains. Only the primary diagnosis and treatment can prevent the natural pattern of development consisting of loss of the carpal architecture, carpal collaps and arthrosis of the wrist joint and restore full functional recovery. In the following knowledge of biomechanics, radiological signs and actual therapeutic options are presented.
