Bestimmung des Diffusionskoeffizienten von Tristearin in Triolein nach der Kapillarmethode

The diffusion coefficient of tristearin in triolein has been measured at 21° C by the capillary-cell technique. The concentration of the 14C-tagged diffusing substance is determined by dry combustion of the solution of tristearin in triolein, and subsequent activity measurement of the BaCO3 sample of infinite thickness. Difficulties and limitations of the method are indicated.
