Arenal y la historiografía feminista española e hispanista en las dos últimas décadas Arenal and Spanish and Hispanist Feminist historiography in the Last Two Decades

This text discusses the contribution and influence of the journal Arenal in Spanish and Hispanist historiography over the last two decades. The authors aim to reconstruct the multiple factors which, in different moments and contexts, have encouraged the theoretical and thematic foundations of this publication. In a plural reading, it explores diverse topics including feminist debates, the incorporation of new conceptual approaches and the interaction with other historiographical trends. Through a reading of Arenal, readers can follow some of the debates that have characterized the historical research on women in the Hispanic sphere since the 1990s.
