AUTOMATIC TRAIN ANNOUNCING SYSTEM (SAAT)

A description of a standardized system of modular construction, which can handle train location in a number of track sections; when the SAAT modules are connected together, they form both a train announcing system from one signal box to another, and a monitoring system for trains of a certain length. Functions: Display of information on a screen, location of traffic, dialogue, transmission, alarm and warning systems, record-keeping. The article describes SAAT structure along with constraints in use and capacity.
