A Comparative Study of Hybrid Optimized Algorithms for Congestion Control in Wireless Sensor Network

2020
Congestion is one of the important factors which should be handled properly to advance the enactment of the wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). It leads to reduced channel capacity and energy waste in WSN.WSN is a self-configured, infrastructure less networks used to monitor and collect useful data from the equipment on their operating environment. Probably many studies in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are motivated on in what way to increase the network performance. Congestion affects the QoS parameters such as queue length, available bandwidth, data arrival rate etc. A number of bio inspired algorithms have been offered for beating these issues. This paper examined about a few Bio-Inspired algorithms and compared the performance of PSOGA and PSOGSA algorithms with respect to congestion control. The result shows that PSOGSA algorithm provides better results than PSOGA algorithm.
