Wearable miniaturized electrochemical sensors: benefits and challenges

With the revolution of science and technology, lap on chip applications have emerged. Over the past decade, miniaturized devices have experienced significant attention due to their wide applications especially in health monitoring and medical purposes. We have explored modern advances in the progress of new electrochemical wearable sensors including sweat, breath, saliva, tears, and skin sensors. Furthermore, implemented materials for printed wearable electrochemical devices and key challenges for wearable sensors implementations were discussed.
