Research on Rotor Dynamics of a 60000rpm 200KW High Speed Motor

2020
The research in this paper aims to promote the 200kw, 60000rpm supercritical carbon dioxide Brayton cycle generator project. The rotor dynamics of the motor rotor was analyzed. In this paper, the finite element method is used to discretize the rotor model first; then the modal analysis is carried out; then the influence of the bearing stiffness and damping on the dynamic characteristics of the rotor system is analyzed by the control variable method; finally, we conducted a harmonic response analysis. The research shows that the rotor system working at rated speed is stable and the maximum amplitude of the rotor system is within the controllable range. This study analyzes the dynamic performance of the rotor, and the study of bearing parameters provides a basis for subsequent optimization.
