Non-Radioactive Determination of Phosphoamino Acids by Capillary Electrophoresis

Phosphorylation of the specific amino acids serine, threonine or tyrosine is one of the major regulatory mechanisms for control of intracellular function. Up to now, only a few methods are available that allow O-phosphorylated amino acids to be identified after partial hydrolysis without prior 32P-labelling.
