Analisis Karakteristik Pola Curah Hujan Lokal Dan Kaitannya Dengan Suhu Muka Laut

2011
Analysis of the behavior of monthly rainfall in the area of local rainfall patterns discussed in this paper. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of monthly rainfall in the area of local rainfall patterns (refused case: Patimura Airport Ambon) in relation to the behavior of sea surface temperatures in the Indian Ocean and Western Pacific Tropical for 30 years of observation (January 1977-December 2006). The results obtained indicate that during such period, the monthly rainfall at the airport Patimura Ambon did show a local pattern, by having one peak and one valley accumulated precipitation. The peak monthly rainfall accumulation within that range occurred in June with a value of 501 mm, while the lowest occurred in November by 73 mm. Monthly rainfall at the airport Patimura Ambon has a good correlation with sea surface temperatures in the Indian Ocean and Western Pacific Tropical, each with a value coefficient correlation r = 0.8 (Tropical Indian Ocean, in 1993) and r = - 0 , 7 (Western Tropical Pacific Ocean, in 1989). Thus, there are indications that the behavior of monthly rainfall in the area Patimura Ambon airport has a close relationship with sea surface temperatures in the Indian Ocean and Western Pacific Tropical.
