CT-Diagnostik bei habitueller Schulterluxation

Die CT gestattet eine luckenlose, uberlagerungsfreie und exakt reproduzierbare Darstellung des Schultergelenkes. Diese Eigenschaften ermoglichen im Gegensatz zur konventionellen Diagnostik erstmals eine objektivierbare Beurteilung der Anatomie im Hinblick auf pradisponierende Faktoren fur die habituelle Schulterluxation. Auserdem konnen knocherne Lasionen als Folgezustand nach Luxation sichtbar gemacht werden. CT provides a clear, unobstructed and reproducible view of the shoulder joint. This permits, unlike conventional methods, for the first time a complete view of the anatomy and of the factors which predispose to a recurrent subluxation of the shoulder. In addition it is possible to see bone lesions resulting from the subluxation.
