The term dietary fiber continues to create considerable confusion because of difficulties about its definition and analysis of its really constituents. Different techniques (enzymatic-chemical and enzymatic-gravimetric methods) are being proposed for dietary fiber analysis, but there are no universal method accepted. In this study the methods with acid-detergent and neutral-detergent with and without enzymatic treatment have been studied another time, in order to compared the results and detect significant differences according to method used.
