The invention discloses a novel power unit module applicable to a modularized multi-level current converter. The novel power unit module applicable to the modularized multi-level current converter comprises four transistors, four diodes, and two capacitors. The four transistors are in series connection with one another, and the four transistors are respectively a first transistor T1, a second transistor T2, a third transistor T3 and a fourth transistor T4. The four diodes are respectively in anti-parallel connection with the corresponding transistors, and the four diodes are respectively a first diode D1, a second diode D2, a third diode D3 and a fourth diode D4. The two capacitors are respectively a first capacitor C1 and a second capacitor C2. The positive electrode of the first capacitor C1 is connected with the collector electrode of the first transistor T1 in parallel. The negative electrode of the first capacitor one C1 is connected with the emitting electrode of the second transistor T2. The positive electrode of the second capacitor C2 is connected with the collector electrode of the third transistor T3. The negative electrode of the second capacitor C2 is connected with the emitting electrode of the fourth transistor T4. When same functions of a multi media card (MMC) are achieved, the number of novel power unit modules is half of the number of general MMC structures. Moreover, the novel power unit module applicable to the modularized multi-level current converter is simple and compact in structure, and low in cost.
